Social Media Analysis from an MBA Student Perspective

Discussing the legal and financial services industry is difficult in reference to social media due to the confidential and sensitive nature of the work being performed. Businesses cannot share their legal and financial matters and legal permission is needed to use any sort of mention of a company to ensure that explicit permissions were given and understood by both parties of how the information will be used. Company’s names cannot be used on Facebook or Twitter, even if it is a casual mention or shout out, again, unless permissions were received. Most aspects of this industry require high-level security, non-disclosure agreements and every legal detail imaginable.
