Fall Break is a perfect opportunity to travel, the weather is usually nice, midterms are over, and flights are cheap. This break I took the opportunity to indulge my travel bug with a trip to the east coast. Traveling can be very stressful, from cancelled flights to lost baggage and crowds of people. If you aren’t prepared, then it can be a downright nightmare. It’s a good thing social media is there to help in sticky situations. Several airlines, hotels, and travel organizations are connecting with travelers through social media. They provide tips on great places to eat, help with booking a trip, and assistance when trouble arises. Before I left for my trip, I started following @deltaassist, and @mymyrtlebeach on Twitter.
